For my first order, I received a finely grinded powder. For my second order, the powder is not as finely grinded. Some little chunks of herb float on the surface of the water I mix the powder with but it is still quite ok to drink. There are sometimes some tiny splinters as well, a couple of milimeters long, so I simmer the mix just in case.
